Work is performed under the supervision of the Operations Manager. Examples of Duties
Assists the public in person, by telephone, or over email in an efficient and courteous manner.Monitors incoming and outgoing loads; inspects incoming loads for the proper offloading procedure.Receives payments; creates daily deposits; prepares daily journal reports from the computerized system.Assists customers with setting up services, roll-off containers, and extra pickups; mails information to potential customers; answers questions about services.Prepares weekly and monthly vouchers for payment; responds to requests from vendors for copies of invoices; verifies payment of vouchers; drafts requests for new vendors.Performs general clerical duties; files invoices; answers phone calls; mail invoices; opens and closes office.Prepares, proofs, and prints aged trial balances for any money issues, monthly; places customers on financial hold if necessary.Verifies scale tickets for accuracy.Assists with overdue accounts notices and callsSet up and process bills of lading for outbound loads.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily.
