Section 8 Property Manager - The Newport Group - Executive Recruiters : Job Details

This person must have 4+ years of Project Based Section 8 property management experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

The ideal candidate will have a strong finance background & managing residential properties. This role is responsible for a large community focused on Project Based Section 8 property management. Must have hands-on experience in overseeing residential operations, including improving work order management, compliance, maintenance and enhancing the residential resident experience. the property manager needs to have strong experience with project-based section 8 (the HUD handbook is 4350.3 that runs the project-based section 8 program) which is different from the vouchers.

Responsibilities:

• Manage Project Based Section 8 property inventory
• Develops an operating budget for the property.
• Submits operating budget for review and approval by the Executive Director.
• Solve all maintenance requests filed by property inhabitants
• Supervise all property staff & assist all outside vendors with property issues

Education:

Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
