Job Description:We are seeking an experienced Security and IT Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, end-point security, applications, and system administration. This role involves designing, implementing, and administering security measures to protect our organization's computer systems, cloud environments, applications, and data.Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Security Administration Including:
- Develop, implement, and maintain security policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Perform daily security audits, vulnerability assessments and intrusion monitoring.
- Review and answer customer inquiries and questionnaires.
- Setup, configuration, and monitoring of internal cloud/enterprise applications.
- Implement additional security agents, required to complete our defense in depth.
- Work with support vendors to define and implement security and patching measures for endpoints and cloud environments.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
- Enforce segregation of duties as required by audits and security standards.
- Stay up to date with the latest security trends, threats, and technology solutions.
- SOC2 and Other Audits Support:
- Monitor compliance with active security certifications and audits.
- Assist with audit tasks and requirements on audit systems.
- Enforce patching and compliance with all vendors.
- Develop security code review for Innovations and internal applications.
- Perform change management tasks on systems implementations and updates.
- Create and maintain data classification policy for internal and customer data.
- Perform periodic access reviews to all systems.
- Level 1 Tech Support:
- Administer licensing and security of add-on applications.
- Support employees with level 1 tasks and escalate to MSP where needed.
- Implement and enforce IT policies and procedures.
- Maintain O365, MS Teams, Exchange, and other Microsoft Applications.
- Development of required system components:
- Build and maintain internal SharePoint sites.
- Maintain Azure Applications and Scripts.
Qualifications:
- Certified SSCP with ISC2 or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or a related role.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT Support or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, authorization, and security.
- Experience with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint protection.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards (e.g., SOC2, GDPR, ISO 27001, NIST).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are highly desirable.
