Security and IAM Architect

Location: Hybrid (2-3 days per week in-office, San Antonio, TX)

Duration: 6-month contract to hire

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Security and IAM Architect to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex security solutions across our enterprise. You will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure that our systems and data are secure and compliant with industry standards.

Responsibilities:

• Security Architecture: Design, implement, and maintain security architectures for various systems and applications, including network, cloud, and on-premises environments.
• Identity and Access Management: Develop and implement IAM strategies, including identity provisioning, access control, and single sign-on solutions.
• Security Standards and Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, such as PCI DSS, HIPAA, NIST, ISO 27001, and Cybersecurity Framework (CSF).
• Threat Modeling and Risk Assessment: Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential security risks.
• Incident Response: Participate in incident response activities, including investigation, containment, and remediation.
• Security Operations: Collaborate with security operations teams to implement security monitoring, logging, and alerting.
• Cloud Security: Design and implement security solutions for cloud environments, including Azure.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a Security Engineer
• 2+ years of experience with Enterprise security architecture in a complex, multi-platform distributed environment
• Strong understanding of IAM concepts and technologies
• Experience with security technologies such as DLP, encryption, key management, fine-grained access control, audit trails, detection, CASB, micro-segmentation, and SASE.
• Knowledge of cloud security principles and solutions, including Azure security.
• Experience with identity management solutions and leading products in the marketplace.
• CISSP or equivalent technical certification is preferred.
