Key Responsibilities:
- Control access to company facilities, including logging visitors and escorting terminated associates.
- Monitor and log vehicle traffic entering and exiting the premises.
- Answer and direct phone calls after business hours, handling inquiries as needed.
- Perform patrol rounds to ensure security and safety compliance.
- Assist with emergency responses and contact appropriate agencies as required.
- Operate and monitor video surveillance systems and maintain activity logs.
- Verify truck/trailer deliveries and log details into the MMS system.
- Open or close the facility as needed, including alarm and keypad procedures.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Six months to 1 year of relevant experience; New York State Certification preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Basic computer skills and proficiency in English are required.
Physical Demands:
- Regularly required to sit, reach, and communicate.
- Must occasionally walk and lift/move up to 20 pounds.
- Work environment noise level is moderate.
