SUMMARY To provide the protection of people and property at Andersen facilities by conducting patrols, utilizing security-related technology and tools, responding to emergency situations, and other general security functions as directed by site leadership or Security Supervisor/Manager. Adheres to Company and Department policies and procedures when responding to and supporting various situations 24/7. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESResponds to both emergency and non-emergency situations, provides security support and helps to coordinate the response of other internal and external teams. Provides escorts and associated protection control measures to employees as applicable. Documents and reports information to the appropriate internal and external partner in accordance with Company and Department policies and procedures.
Interacts with guests, vendors, contractors and employees while providing a positive brand experience.
Provides patrols and performs duties via foot and security vehicle to ensure the safety and security of Andersen's employees, guests and facilities.
Monitors, maintains and responds to alarms within the below systems and collaborates with the appropriate internal and external partners to resolve the situation.
Enforces access control ID badge policy by monitoring employee use. Issues temporary and day-use badges and removes/grants access for lost/misplaced access control ID badges per company policy.
Collaborates with site leadership and other members of the Enterprise Corporate Security team to complete department projects and initiatives
Assists with training internal and external partners on the company's security policies and procedures
Possess at least a high school diploma or equivalent.
Knowledgeable about physical security technology, follow security processes and have knowledge of computers and computer systems.
Able to meet Fleet requirements required to drive a company vehicle.
Strong written and verbal communication and focused on providing strong customer service.
Able to work independently with minimal direction.
Experience working in the physical security industry and/or operations center environment.
First aid and CPR certified or able to achieve first aid and CPR certification upon being hired.
Ability to occasionally lift 75 pounds and carry 50 pounds or more.
Able to sit, walk and stand for extended periods of time daily.
