Must be able to pass a thorough background investigation and take a pre-employment drug screen.Preferred Hiring Qualifications:* Knowledge of standard security practices and procedures.* Ability to patrol assigned areas; perform foot patrols.* Required to walk for long periods of time as well as up and down stairs.* May require sitting or standing at a stationary assignment for long periods of time.* Flexible schedule; The Police Department is 24 hours / 7 days a week operation.* Effective oral and written communication skills.* Effective time management and organizational skills
