Why does the job exist?This job will provide general security and maintenance to an acute facility, Long Term Care Facility, Rural Health Care Clinic as well as the hospital property. How does it get done?This position protects the overall hospital by conducting frequent premise rounds, both inside and outside for both facilities. This position participates in emergent event codes. This position assists with nighttime maintenance issues and with snow removal. Who are the customers?The staff, patients, residents, outside vendors and the community. Ideal CandidateQualities include: Security experience, excellent communication skills and HIPPA knowledge. Minimum QualificationEighth grade education. Employment RequirementsMust possess a valid driver¿s license and successfully pass a background check. Working ConditionsThis position will perform work in both indoor and outdoor settings with exposure to potential hazards that may include but are not limited to, dealing with trespassers, vandals, and/or unruly clients.
