Security Guard - Rattler Midstream LP : Job Details

Job Title: Security GuardDepartment: Legal / SecuritySummary: The Security Guard, will be expected to perform and assist in all security team efforts. The Security Guard will be expected to observe, monitor, document and report activities in order to secure and protect Company Assets. The Security Guard is expected to serve as a role model for all employees to work safely and diligently at all times and enhance the employee experience. The Security Guard will also conduct foot patrols at Diamondback Facilities. Finally, the Security Guard will contribute to the compliance with and effectiveness of company drug, alcohol and contraband programs.Job Duties and Responsibilities:* Identify safety or security threats and respond appropriately and in a timely manner* Maintain logs and prepare incident reports, when required* Monitor access to the building floors and private parking areas via CCTV and computerized systems* Safely operate company vehicles, when required* Perform daily patrols of interior and exterior of building on foot and vehicle* Professionally greet and register guests and visitors* Maintain a professional, uniformed appearance* Other job duties as assignedRequired Qualifications:* High school degree or equivalent* Minimum one (1) year of Professional and/or law enforcement experience* Must hold a license as an armed security guard for the State of Texas and/or active commissioned Texas Peace Officer, and/or retired State of Texas Peace Officer that is LEOSA certified* Ability to follow instructions, with good attention to details* Ability to interact professionally with all levels of staff* Ability to express ideas effectively, both orally and in writing* Proficiency and understanding of physical security principles, practices and operations* Ability to react effectively, using sound judgment in dynamic situations* Valid Texas driver's license with excellent driving record* Must be able to work on flexible schedule with the ability to work overtime, after-hours and weekends* Must have the physical strength, endurance and flexibility to perform rigorous security dutiesPreferred Qualifications:* Strong Analytical and Problem Solving capabilities* Basic computer skills* Knowledge of electronic security systems desirable/preferredRelocation:* This position is not eligible for relocation assistanceWork Authorization:* Diamondback Energy is not currently sponsoring employment visas for this position
