Forward is a single resource for your shipping needs.Position: Security GuardCore Responsibilities & Duties:* Logging inbound and outbound trucks* Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules* Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security* Warn violators of premise rules and regulations* Report an facility issues such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes* Monitor and control access to the facility by checking Identification and credentials of personnel and visitors* Operate gate and surveillance systems to ensure entry and exit* Conduct routine patrols of the facility to detect and report any security concerns or breaches* Enforce company policies and procedures related to security and access control in alignment with CTPAT guidelines* Communicate effectively with team members and report and irregularities to management* Assist with emergency response as needed and follow all safety protocolsJob Requirements & Qualifications:* Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills* Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing the English language for the purpose of public interaction and report writing* Familiarity with CTPAT guidelines is required* Must be bilingual* Must have High School Diploma of GED* Help in other areas as neededWhat We Offer:* Competitive base salary* Paid time off within the first year of employment, sick time and holidays* Company provided life insurance* Health, vision, and dental insurance options* Commuter benefit plan* Optional supplemental life insurance* 401(k)* A great place to work with a terrific culture#IND
