SECURITY GUARD - ATWATER, CA.- Part-time - 2 PM - 6 PM Mon-Fri (opportunities for additional hours for shift covering and special projects)
- Pay - $18/hr.
OVERVIEW:The Security Guard is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the manufacturing site, its employees, and visitors. This role involves monitoring the premises, preventing unauthorized access, and responding to security incidents.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:Patrol and Surveillance:
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to identify potential security threats.
Access Control:
- Manage entry and exit points to ensure only authorized personnel and visitors gain access.
- Verify identification and issue visitor passes as necessary.
Incident Response:
- Report, document, and aid in the review of any security breaches, incidents, or suspicious activities.
Safety Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and procedures.
- Assist management with researching any safety violations at the site, this can include any food safety violations
- Ensure all visitors are compliant with sitewide GMPs
Customer Service:
- Assist employees and visitors with directions and information.
- Provide a visible security presence to foster a safe environment.
- First point of contact for vendors and contractors when they come onsite. Ensure that unexpected visitors are not allowed onsite.
- First point of contact for OTR drivers, ensure they have an appointment for their delivery/pickup
Reporting:
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
- Prepare and submit incident reports to management.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in security or law enforcement preferred.
- Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
- Good communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of security systems and emergency procedures.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision and guidance
- Basic knowledge of computer systems, emails, and general office applications.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
