Our team is the front line of our fight against the opiate epidemic.Your Job as a Security Guard:The Security Guard is responsible for monitoring any and all persons and/or vehicles entering or leaving clinic property. They will provide support to all staff as needed to ensure a safe environment is maintained. The Security Guard is responsible for safety and security communication to supervisor.Your Responsibilities as a Security Guard:* Assists, direct and monitors all persons entering and leaving the clinic property;* Keeps accurate log books, as required; directs emergency personnel arriving on facility property and maintains flow of traffic during emergencies, such as fire drills;* Communicates regarding incoming admissions, visits and deliveries to appropriate staff;* Monitors parking area to ensure that no loitering or misconduct takes place, monitor lobby area, and do frequent sweeps of the entire building, always interact with staff and patients in a professional manner, report any suspicious behavior to the Clinic Director and/or supervisors; and,* Perform other duties as assigned.QualificationsYour Education, Skills and Qualifications:* High School Diploma or GED required* Experience working in a healthcare or patient/customer facing setting preferred* Must be comfortable with working in an addiction recovery environment* Two years' experience in security, corrections, or military is preferredWe are committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all applicants for employment regardless of an individual's characteristics protected by applicable state, federal and local laws.#LI-CTC
