Diploma or equivalent required u00b7 Associate's Degree Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, Security or closely related field preferred u00b7 2 years security or law enforcement preferred u00b7 2 years healthcare or education preferred u00b7 Driveru2019s License Class C and Insurable is required and u00b7 CSO - Commissioned Security Officer Texas Private Security Level 2, 14 days of hire required and u00b7 CSO - Commissioned Security Officer Texas level 3 within 60 days of hire required and u00b7 TASER Certification within 60 days of hire required (Two attempts permitted within sixty days) and Annual recertification is required and u00b7 CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training upon hire and u00b7 ACPI - Advanced Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 6 months of hire required or u00b7 CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 30 Days of hire required and u00b7 ACPI - Advanced Crisis Prevention Intervention Training within 12 months of hire required u00b7 Must possess the ability to physically defend and/or restrain people. u00b7 Must successfully complete a psychological evaluation. What You Will Do u00b7 Patrols buildings and ground for unlocked secured areas for after hour entry. u00b7 Locks and opens doors according to schedules. u00b7 Provides individual and group escorts to and from parking areas. u00b7 Identifies and removes unauthorized individuals from property. u00b7 Enforces campus parking policies/cite violations. u00b7 Maintains compliance with Security policies. u00b7 Pursues and detains persons involved in criminal activity. u00b7 Fills out incident/offense report forms and composes narratives. u00b7 Gives directions to areas of facility. u00b7 Interacts with police, fire personnel, patients, visitors, and staff.
