Security Officer I - Mount Nittany Health : Job Details

Performs duties that provide a secure and safe environment to patients, staff, equipment and facilities of the Mount Nittany Health System. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: High School education or equivalent. Experience: Three years of Law enforcement, hospital security, corrections, military, state parole required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Ability to communicate calmly and clearly in stressful situations. Ability to work with all departments in the health system. Interact positively with patients, visitors, and outside agencies. Ability to interact in a professional manner with external law enforcement agencies in the performance of job duties. (may include; Local and State Police, State Parole, FBI, Secret Service, U.S. Marshals) Demonstrate a basic understanding of the Bill of Rights and U.S. Constitution on how it relates to the function of a Mount Nittany Health Police Officer.
