What You Will Do- Perform a variety of patrol, security, emergency response and customer service duties at assigned location.
- Greet and log in all visitors and vendors at entrance gate
- Notify appropriate personnel or department of arrival
- Direct visitors and vendors to destination
- Enforce company policies and procedures
- Perform frequent patrols of the property
- Walk, bicycles, or drives vehicle on irregularly scheduled rounds of property
- Observe conditions of equipment, grounds and facilities
- Pick up litter or debris as needed, or arranges clean-up with maintenance crews
- Report damages or areas in need of repair to the Maintenance Supervisor
- Conduct surveillance of locations or areas in which vandalism or criminal activities have been noted
- Assist with and trained for emergency situations
- Collaborate with police officers in the prevention of crime
- Work with fire response units for fire suppression, and with medical emergency response units in the event of emergency situations, at the assigned location
- Provide basic emergency medical response (e.g. performs CPR, gives basic first aid) when needed
- Perform other duties as required
What You Bring To Freeport- Current CPR and first aid certifications, as required by specific site location
- Skilled in responding appropriately to emergency and conflict situations
- Knowledge of site rules, regulations, policies and procedures
- Knowledgeable of the site topography and locations of emergency equipment and access points
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
Preferred Qualifications- High School diploma or GED
What We Offer You The estimated pay range for this role is currently
$15.50 - $21.00/hour. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance. More details will be shared during the hiring process.
