Title: Security OfficerDepartment: SecurityReports To: Security Shift Supervisor/Security Manager FLSA Status: Non-ExemptPay Grade: 5Wage Range: Starting at $16.10 - $19.91Gaming Class: Compact/ Gaming (The ability to pass a background check to attain a Gaming License once hired) Application Deadline:Position Summary:The Security Officer, through observation, patrol, and customer/employee relations, is responsible to provide and maintain a safe environment for customers, employees, and casino assets to prevent loss of profit due to fire, theft, vandalism, embezzlement, and other forms of crime. A Security Officer should have the ability to work with the public, supervise areas and groups of people, and be responsible and effective in emergencies. Qualifications - Education and Experience: Minimum Qualifications:

• The Security Officer must have a High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Incumbent must obtain CPR Certification within one year of employment.
• Must become Tips Certified within one year of employment.
• Must have computer typing skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience is preferred but not necessary.

Work Environment:The work environment is fast-paced and requires overall good mental and physical health.
