Security Officer - MidMichigan Health : Job Details

This position performs patrols, writes incident reports, responds to non-emergency and emergency calls throughout the entire campus and as requested by security supervision. Responsibilities (10%) - Escorts patients to areas of the facility, as requested by staff (i.e. doctor, nurse). (30%) - Responds to all calls received from the public and hospital staff. (10%) - Responds to hospital emergencies. (50%) - Monitors cameras and stays stationary at desk location helping to assist customers, patient, etc. OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Answers all calls for assistance. Monitors CCTV system for any and all suspicious circumstances, dispatching a security officer when required. Assists with helicopter flight operations Secures and unlocks doors, as prescribed by policies or procedures, or at the direction of the Security Manager and Supervisor. Notifies the Security Manager and/or Supervisor via chain of command, for any and all major incidents that occur of facility property.
