Security Operations Manager

Expedia Group is seeking qualified candidates for the role of Security Operatons Manager to join our Physical Security team, located in Seattle, Washington.

The Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for both conducting intelligence work and supporting the development of policies and procedures related to security and intelligence. This is a cross-functional role that involves Executive Protection, Investigations, Physical Risk & Intelligence, and other corporate security functions. The ideal candidate is someone with a strong analytical background who can utilize advanced analytic and investigative techniques to develop tailored intelligence products, and who has a passion for corporate security, analysis, and problem-solving. Candidates must be flexible and adaptable, and willing to work nights and weekends as needed.

In this role, you will:

  • Support the development of policies, plans, and procedures related to protective intelligence, investigations, risk assessment, executive protection, and vendor management

  • Produce timely, useful, actionable, and tailored intelligence reports and threat assessments, to include but not limited to:

    • Sentiment tracking and analysis

    • Corporate intelligence analysis

    • Executive travel risk assessments

    • Special event risk assessments

    • General threat monitoring and analysis

    • POI monitoring and analysis

  • Analyze and assess risks and threats to the corporation and executives across the organization

  • Monitor all-source information to pro-actively identify and assess threats that could potentially impact the company's global executives and business operations

  • Perform investigations into sourced data, to best understand potential threats, vulnerabilities, and impacts to the organization.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with other business partners and colleagues to effectively support their needs and communicate the objectives of the security program

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with outside agencies and resources to effectively support the needs and objectives of the security program

  • Engage respectfully and collaboratively with all partners and colleagues; engage in clear and open communication and listening; and contribute to a positive and proactive team culture

  • Follow company procedures and processes as they relate to industry best practices and handling of confidential information

  • Flexible work schedule, with the ability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Experience and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Security or related field; or equivalent professional experience

  • 7+ years of work experience in the private sector in analytical, investigative and/or executive protection disciplines

  • Proven intelligence monitoring, investigation, reporting and analyzation skills

  • Analytical and problem-solving experience

  • Excellent writing and oral communications skills

  • Experience working with highly confidential information

  • Experience completing multiple tasks simultaneously and functioning with minimal supervision In ambiguous situations

  • Experience working in both individual and team environments

The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $116,500.00 to $163,000.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $186,500.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
