Security Specialist – A&A/ ATO - Remote

***U.S. Citizenship Required***

We are seeking a security compliance professional with experience working closely with architects and technical teams to ensure security controls are effectively implemented. The ideal candidate will be able to contribute to migration plans, validate compliance with existing controls, and evaluate security differences between source and target environments.

Job Description:

- Work with Lead Architect to provide security and control guidance throughout the program, including in the planning, technical design, implementation, execution, and validation

- Contribute security, compliance, and ATO steps to include in the detailed migration plans, including at the infrastructure, application, platform, and environment levels

- Validate compliance with existing controls

- Evaluate differences between the source and target environments in inheritance and implementation approaches to meet security controls

- Evaluate and understand target state controls, and be able to communicate to application teams and technical resources

- Work with client parties to help document security compliance controls

- Work with internal platform resources to document control compliance for platform ATO

- Work with internal platform resources to prepare and submit ATO package for approval, including working with client on control validation audit testing

- Provide remediation guidance and follow-up on any questions or remediation's from the ATO review process

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• 3+ years of related experience
• Due to federal contract requirements US Citizenship is required
• Must be eligible for a Public Trust
• Experience with security compliance assessment
• Experience creating ATO packages
• NIST
• AWS security experience is strongly preferred
