Trinity Industries, Inc. Corporate Security Department is searching for a talented team player to fill the open position of a Supervisor, Site Security Specialist in our Jonesboro, AR & Shell Rock, IA plants! We welcome your ideas and your outstanding work ethic.

The Supervisor, Site Security Specialist conducts regular monitoring of our property, as well as serving as the first point of contact for visitors entering the building or property, which may vary from location to location. This individual also assists with investigating on-site incidents, preventing theft, and calmly mitigating escalated situations. Additionally, the Supervisor, Site Security Specialist acts as a liaison between customers, visitors and employees, as well as prepares documentation necessary to support the security administration program.

What you'll do:

Assists Corporate Security Manager with daily physical security operations for the facility

Continuously monitors the facility for both internal and external security threats and risks

Identifies critical assets and vulnerabilities so that appropriate mitigation strategies can be developed and executed

Advises facility management regarding the protection of assets and other security related issues

Develops and executes local security protocols

Ensures compliance with both corporate and local security policies and procedures

Supervises security officers assigned to the facility

Performs regular inspections of and routine preventive maintenance upon physical security

Infrastructure components and makes arrangements for required repairs

Administers electronic security systems for the facility (video, access control, alarm)

Prepares reports and conducts preliminary investigations of security related incidents

Maintains liaison with local law enforcement officials within whose jurisdiction the facility is located

Other security related duties, as necessary

What you'll need:

Minimum 5 years experience in security related position

Minimum High School diploma or Associates/Bachelors degree preferred in related field

Understanding of supervisory or Management experience in industrial security

Ability to effectively interact and collaborate with facility management personnel
