Position Type: Full-Time

Salary Range: $20.00 - $25.00 Hourly

Job Shift: Day Shift

Description

A Seed Coordinator is responsible for organizing, sorting treating, and shipping seed orders. This person is responsible for the physical seed inventory in the warehouse, receiving/unloading seed, and operating soybean seed treater.

What You'll Do:

* Responsible for treating seed, per order requirements.

* Maintain state applicators license to treat seed.

* Responsible for running and maintaining seed equipment such as Seed Tenders, Weigh Wagons, and Treating Machine.

* Provides customer service in filling, loading, and delivering seed.

* Maintain a clean and organized warehouse and office.

* Assist Seed Lead in working with growers and River Valley team members educating them on hybrids, and overall product performance.

* Ensures all paperwork is complete, accurate and submitted on time.

* Assist in placing seed orders and maintaining acceptable inventories.

* Responsible for field marketing and sign placement.

* Help promote a clean and positive image for River Valley Cooperative.

* Support Agronomy Business Unit and other activities, event and meetings as required

Qualifications

What You'll bring:

* High School diploma or equivalent

* Previous experience in agriculture or a related field preferred

* Basic computer skills required

* Valid driver's license and the ability to obtain a CDL - Class A w/endorsements airbrake, hazmat, tanker

* Ability to obtain custom applicator licenses with applicable endorsements, including Seed Treatment Certification

Working conditions:

May be exposed to dust, noise, heat, cold, ag chemicals, and vapors, and moving machinery. May be required to work long hours, as well as work outdoors in all types of weather conditions.
