Compensation: $16.50 per hourAlliance Industrial Solutions has partnered with a worldwide leader in zipper manufacturing and we are looking for Material Handlers! 1st Shift: 6:30 AM - 4:30 PM Mon-Thu Pay: $16.50/hr Job Brief: We are seeking a skilled Material Handler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the efficient handling and movement of zippers or similar packaging materials within our facility. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to operate various equipment safely.Responsibilities:

Inspect zippers for damage or defects and report any issues to supervisors.

Store zippers in designated locations within the warehouse or storage area.

Retrieve materials from inventory as needed and prepare them for shipment.

Ensure proper labeling and documentation of zippers for tracking purposes.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area, including sweeping floors and disposing of debris.

Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents or injuries.

Assist with inventory counts and audits as required.

Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Proven experience as a material handler or similar role, preferably in a warehouse or distribution setting 6+ months.

Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods.

Familiarity with operating warehouse equipment.

Attention to detail and accuracy in handling and inspecting zippers.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and data entry may be required.
