Engages with customers, provides efficient checkout services, communicates grocery carry out services, and monitors the self-checkout lanes. Maintains proficiency regarding transactions and accuracy of tender. Performs various customer service duties while maintaining a safe and sanitary shopping environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Maintains a consistent position at the entrance of the self-checkout lane when not assisting customers. Directs and invites customers to use self-checkout lanes based on availability and payment method options. Resolves varying customer interventions accurately and with a sense of urgency. Closely monitors all transactions for accuracy. Role model for Jump-Over-the-Counter Service Excellence Monitors, scans, and labels items on the bottom of the shopping cart. Communicates customers needing carry out assistance to courtesy clerks. Maintains clean, safe and sanitary working and shopping environment by adhering to Company safety procedures.
