Some Responsibilities of a Self-Storage District Manager Include: Pristine Facilities - Provide guidance regarding, and evaluation and oversight of, facility conditions and maintenance; ensure the physical condition, functionality, and curb appeal appeal of each facility. Exceptional Customer Service - Assist the team with anticipating customer needs and proactively finding, working through, and communicating solutions. Serve as a mentor and coach to Team Members in creating exceptional customer service; provide guidance and assistance through customer escalations and incidents. Team Member Growth and Engagement - Build your team; hire the best people, train them well, connect them with other Team Members, engage them with the company and the community. Manage the performance of your team; mentor, coach, direct, discipline, encourage, and recognize them. Lead the communication to, coordination of, and administration for, your team. Revenue Maximization - Take an active role in evaluating competition and setting strategic direction for pricing. Provide oversight and guidance regarding the management of facility expenses.
