Paws With A Cause is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Dog and People Trainer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for training Clients to utilize Assistance Dogs and will be based in the Southeast Michigan area. This is a full-time position with a 40-hour workweek and a salary range of $21-$25/hour. Associate's degree from a two-year college or technical school in a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experienceSix or more years of experience in dog training or teaching obedience; or will consider 2-3 years of dog training experience if increased experience in a people-related field (E.G. special education teacher; physical therapist; occupational therapist; etc.)Experience in working with people who have a disability (preferred)Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
