Position Overview: The Bliss Group has an immediate opening for a Senior Account Executive to join our Professional Services team. The candidate will have the opportunity to join a team responsible for the B2B integrated marketing activities and PR for our largest client, supporting multiple business lines and industries within. They will participate in strategic planning and content creation initiatives across the entire account and assist in executing several large-scale marketing campaigns. They will also have the opportunity to delve deep on several complex issues, including tax policy, regulatory compliance and digital transformation. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • This role will include writing, client and project management and media outreach
  • Serve as the day-to-day support for select clients, managing both strategy and execution
  • Leverage stellar writing/editing skills to develop and edit content (surveys/studies and other long-form thought leadership collateral, email marketing copy, digital ad copy, video scripts, etc.)
  • Develop media relations strategies, goals, media targets and pitch angles
  • Pitch the media
  • Serve as information leader on client teams, demonstrating industry or media-driven knowledge that directly and indirectly affects the client
  • Route articles of interest to account teams and client
  • Assist in the development of long-term client plans and program recommendations and developing budgets
  • Manage reporting mechanisms for client and account team
  • Participate with senior team leaders in client presentations
  • Coach/mentor junior staff and review their work for accuracy
  • Support organic new business development initiatives
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3+ years of public relations and/or integrated marketing experience required; agency experience preferred
  • Exceptional long-form writing skills is a MUST
  • B2B communications experience is a MUST
  • Ability to grasp complex content
  • Strong interest in professional services
  • Proficiency in digital and social content marketing
  • Experience managing accounts and strong client interactions
  • Understanding of traditional news media landscape; experience pitching strongly preferred
  • Understanding of integrated PESO marketing strategies
  • Works effectively within a team, demonstrating coordination, communication and problem-solving contribution
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills; able to work quickly, prioritizing multiple assignments, while being flexible to changing client and team needs & priorities
  • Flexible approach; has the ability to change priorities against changing client and team needs
  • Intellectual curiosity, a passion for learning about a rapidly evolving industry, and a positive attitude!
Work Location: This position will be based in our NYC or Austin office, working a hybrid schedule. Salary Range: 70K-90K annually **Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A discretionary bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
