This role is vital for ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance while enhancing operational efficiency.Salary/Hourly Rate:$45 - $55/hrPosition Overview:The Senior Accountant will manage general ledger accounts, lead the month-end close process, and prepare comprehensive financial statements. This Senior Accountant position requires strong analytical skills and collaboration with various departments to ensure effective financial practices.Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:

• Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Lead the month-end close process, including journal entries and account reconciliations
• Prepare and review financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow)
• Perform regular account reconciliations (bank statements, fixed assets, accruals)
• Conduct variance analysis and explain differences between actual and budgeted figures
• Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and support audit processes
• Analyze financial data to support budgeting and forecasting
• Utilize accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., JDE) for effective data management
• Collaborate with other departments for accurate financial reporting

• 8+ years of experience in accounting or financial analysis
• Proficiency in Excel and experience with accounting software (JDE preferred)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with various departments

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required
• CPA is preferred
