We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing the full accounting cycle, while driving process improvements to streamline closing and reconciliation tasks. This individual will contribute to financial reporting, product costing, tax reporting, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

salary: $80,000 - $90,000 per year

work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM

Responsibilities

+ Managed full accounting cycle, driving process improvements to expedite closing and reconciliation tasks, under the guidance of the Controller.

+ Prepared Monthly Operating Reports, including financial metrics and data analysis.

+ Conducted monthly valuation of Work in Progress (WIP).

+ Supported Lean/Continuous Improvement initiatives.

+ Performed job costing, product line analysis, and customer profitability assessments.

+ Maintained labor, variable, and fixed overhead rates for accurate product costing.

+ Provided ad hoc and special reports as needed.

+ Monitored and updated finance policies and procedures as necessary.

+ Handled monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities.

+ Prepared quarterly state tax reports.

+ Managed accounts receivable and collections.

+ Reviewed accounts payable.

+ Completed account reconciliations and journal entries.

+ Reconciled bank accounts.

+ Processed commissions and bonuses.
