- Work as a key member of the team to provide consistently excellent work in the form of appropriate,
timely and accurate reports, communications and services.
- Execute the required accounting and administrative tasks of the family office enterprise and related
business entities.
- Manage day-to-day accounting, bookkeeping, and reconciliations including the timely processing and
recording of cash receipts and disbursements, and proper classification of all activities for businessentities and family households
- Identify and implement improvements to the accounting system and related controls and processes.
- Manage the organization, content and maintenance of all accounting records and supporting
documentation and permanent files.
- Identify exceptions and problems affecting accounting records, communicate same to management,
and assist in their resolution.
- Tracking capital account activity including capital calls and distributions to investors and funded and
unfunded commitments to the investment vehicles.
- Assist with monitoring and managing cash balances for bank and investment accounts.
- Manage, maintain and improve checklists for various internal processes.
- Provide ad hoc financial and analytical support for investment, business and personal projects.
- Special projects and other accounting/financial activities as needed.
Education and Experience Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or similar. Master's degree and CPA is preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of partnership, fund or general accounting or tax experience. Experience in
wealth management, or service business with high-net worth clients a plus.
- Strong general ledger accounting and understanding of income taxes and tax reports of partnership,
individual and trust. Prior relevant tax preparation experience a plus.
- Experience and familiarity with investment management reports and general understanding of
investment performance calculations a plus.
- Be a self-starter and comfortable working in a small office environment.
- Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite non-negotiable. Should be a heavy user of Excel (ie.
