They are growing and are looking for additional leadership support in the accounting department!
  • Office hours: 8:30am – 5:30pm (some flex)
  • Not a bonus potential for this position as of today
  • Benefits/costs attached; also on-site gym and employee product purchase at 80% of retail value
  • PTO: 18 days are accrued the first year and then front-loaded at the beginning of next full year; after 5 years = 25 days and after 10 years = 33 days

Review commissions data and work with the commissions accountants to ensure payments are made to companies sales associates accurately and on time. Plan, develop and execute AP processes to achieve objectives set by management. Adhere to established policies and procedures to complete all accounts payable processes by the month-end cutoff. Review and verify the accuracy of departmental operating statements. Research and communicate any issues and make corrections. Prepare monthly reconciliations of prepaid expenses, accounts payable, various accrued expenses and related liabilities and other month end close duties. Ensure that accounts payable, cash management, inventory, and purchase order processing, are recorded correctly and timely using the Company's accounting software. Ensure that the order processing and inventory control software is processing information correctly and timely. Complete required tax reporting in a timely manner. Prepare working papers for provisional payments of federal taxes and annual federal tax returns. Research tax law and complex indirect tax issues. Prepare miscellaneous tax studies and assignments as required. Prepare and update tax provision schedules as needed. Research and correct processing errors that cause incorrect tax filings. Review and analyze accounts with significant balances. Analyze and prepare financial reports for management. Perform other duties as needed.Required SkillsRequired Experience 5 to 7 years experience in accounting, financial analysis, and operations. Bachelor's Degree in accounting and/or finance.
