The Senior Revenue Account will lead the recognition and treatment of Sage's revenue streams through collaboration with various stakeholders and keeping up-to-date with technical guidance. You'll handle complex accounting tasks, manage audits, collaborate with teams across the business, and contribute to improving processes. It's a hands-on role that requires technical expertise and a proactive approach to problem-solving and collaboration.What You Will Be Doing:You'll oversee revenue recognition for software, subscriptions, and multi-element arrangements, ensuring everything aligns with IFRS standards. Your responsibilities include posting complex journal entries, managing period close activities, reconciling the balance sheet, and collaborating with sales teams on accounting considerations for complex contracts. You'll also play a key role in audit deliverables, regulatory compliance, and process improvements. Training and supporting finance and sales teams, documenting workflows, and contributing to team KPIs and process controls will also be part of your role.What We Are Looking For:Must have at least 2-5 years' experience & CPA required. We're looking for someone with advanced Excel skills, in-depth knowledge of IFRS standards (including IFRS 15), and at least five years of operational accounting experience, ideally in a technology environment. Leadership experience, ERP system expertise (e.g., SAP, Hyperion), and a service-oriented mindset are strongly preferred.
