API INSPECTOR

Position Type: Direct Hire

Position Salary: $75K-$100K + per diem (Depending on experience and certifications)

Position Locations: Augusta, GA

Our client is in search of an API Inspector in Augusta, GA. MUST be able to travel up to 70%. Ideal candidates are required to have hands on experience conducting the following:

• Magnetic Particle
• Dye Penetrant
• Ultrasonic

The API Inspector performs the inspection of piping, storage tanks and pressure vessels.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Key Accountabilities:

• Inspects, analyzes, and identifies equipment to determine where problems or defects are present.
• Build customer relationships - both internal and external
• Lead all safety training and follow all company safety procedures. (Lead by example)
• Meets company Employee Attributes / Competencies

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Requirements:

• Certified in all NDT (non-destructive testing) disciplines and methods.
• Good working knowledge of NDT equipment
• 3 years of experience working in a testing environment
• Certified API 653. API 510 and ASNT (American Society of Non-destructive Testing.) Level 2 Completed Tappi and OSHA 30 safety training.
• Able to work flexible schedules as needed.
• 70% travel availability
