• BS in CS or equivalent
• 5 years of software engineering experience, preferably in the crypto space
• Experience with at least one compiled language such as Rust, C++, or C AND 1 backend development language (TypeScript, Python, Node, or similar)
• Experience with the Solana ecosystem or having written code that interfaces with such (indexers, RPC nodes, validator nodes, wallet connectors, wallets)
• Understanding of networking protocols and frameworks including TCP, UDP, WebSockets, Protocol Buffers, and gRPC
• Understanding of Solana architecture, including leaders, shreds, transaction structures (e.g. list of instructions within a transaction), and Jito bundles
• Strong system and software design skills, including the ability to reason about technical tradeoffs of different architectural approaches
