The Role As a Senior Billing Specialist at SevenRooms, you will be a key player in elevating our billing operations to the next level. Leveraging your existing knowledge and expertise, you'll take on complex billing issues, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, and drive continuous improvement in our billing processes. Your passion for customer satisfaction and problem-solving will directly impact the customer experience and contribute to the company's growth in Live & Paying ARR. What You'll Do
  • Client Billing Support: Lead the resolution of complex customer billing issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate solutions. Provide guidance and support to junior billing analysts, sharing your expertise and knowledge.
  • Subscription Billing Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of the end-to-end subscription billing process, from setup and management to cancellations. Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
  • Metrics & Quality Assurance: Assist in developing and refining billing operation metrics reporting, contributing to data-driven decision-making. Participate in quality assurance efforts to maintain high standards and minimize errors.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with Revenue Organization to ensure timely and accurate billing for all customers.
  • Process Optimization: Contribute to the ongoing improvement of billing processes by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting solutions. Assist in implementing best practices and exploring automation opportunities.
  • Documentation: Thoroughly document problem resolution steps for client issues, building a knowledge base and contributing to continuous improvement.
Who You Are
  • 4+ years of experience in a billing specialist or analyst role, with a demonstrated ability to handle complex billing scenarios.
  • Eagerness to develop leadership skills and mentor junior team members.
  • Solid understanding of subscription billing models and best practices.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, utilizing tools like Excel or similar platforms.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building positive relationships with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
  • Proactive problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with CRM and billing software systems (e.g. Salesforce, NetSuite)

    • The salary range for this role is $80,000.00 - $90,000.00. This is the range SevenRooms in good faith believes is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of the posting. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed remotely in any US state. Base pay offered may vary depending on, but not limited to education, experience, skills, geographic location, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also bonus eligible. No amount is considered to be wages or compensation until such amount is earned, vested, and determinable.
