The Devices and Services Brand Studio is looking for a dynamic, multifaceted brand builder to join Amazon as a Senior Brand Strategist. A creative and incisive thinker, this individual will be responsible for crafting and driving alignment on the strategic elements of brand strategy, including brand positioning, brand architecture, creative strategy, and brand identity. This role will steward strategy through the creative processes – from product concept and UX considerations through marketing and engagement campaigns – collaborating across teams to build cohesive storytelling that positively shifts perceptions, influences desired customer behaviors, and grows our brands and businesses. You'll have the opportunity to refine and shape established world-class brands, including Alexa, Echo, Kindle, Fire TV, as well as to define new brands, products, services, and initiatives. You will also be responsible for reimagining effective brand strategy processes and tools, leveraging AI.
The Senior Brand Strategist is a prophetic thinker who is deeply engaged with cultural and tech industry trends, and intersects their knowledge and high judgement with customer and business insights. They work closely with teammates and partners across Naming Strategy, Customer Insights, Brand Design, Creative Program Management, Marketing, Go-to-Market, Product Management, UX and Industrial Design, as well as with brand and business stakeholders in other parts of Amazon, and at times with external agencies. This individual thrives in complex and fast-paced environments and is gifted in arriving at true, distinctive, and compelling strategies in the face of the most complicated and ambiguous business and customer challenges. The ability to craft an inspiring and well-written narrative that influences teams at all levels is critical to success in this role, as is the ability to develop (in partnership with Creative) and deliver compelling presentations.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $153,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $252,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
