Job Purpose The Senior Business Operations Analyst position plays a pivotal role in enhancing the efficiency of manufacturing operations. Key Accountabilities
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of manufacturing business operations to identify opportunities for improvement and strategic growth
  • Lead and manage complex projects, ensuring they align with business goals and deliver value.
  • Analyze financial data and produce detailed reports to support decision-making processes.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize manufacturing business processes, enhance efficiency, and reduce costs.
  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of operational initiatives.
  • Ensure all business operations comply with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Work closely with various departments, including flight operations, supply chain, customer service, and R&D, to understand and address business needs.
  • Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in business manufacturing, Engineering, Technology, or other related field of study required. PhD a plus.
  • Minimum 8 years' experience in aerospace manufacturing or manufacturing environment.
  • Six Sigma/Lean certification preferred.
  • Experience in MRP, Teamcenter Manufacturing, CATIA and AutoCAD systems desired.
  • Knowledge of design/drafting practices, design for manufacturability, and proficiency in reading/understanding mechanical drawings desired.
  • Working Conditions Physical Requirements:
  • Incumbents may be routinely exposed to equipment operational noise heat-cold-dust, and/or aircraft equipment, parts, or fuel odors.
  • Incumbents may be required to stand, sit, squat, walk, bend, move, reach, or stretch for prolonged time periods with no restrictions, as required by job duties.
  • Work in a safe and professional manner while adhering to all regulatory requirements (FAA, OSHA, DOT, EPA, State, and Federal regulations, etc.).
  • Read, hear, speak, and see with no restrictions, as required by job duties.
  • Comprehend and adhere to management directions and/or safety instructions with no restrictions.
  • Effectively communicate in Business English language.
  • Pull, push, carry, lift, or move items up to 10 lbs. throughout the work shift without assistance, as required by job duties.
  • Pull, push, carry, lift or move materials/people/items/equipment weighing up to 50lbs or more during the work shift, with the use of Company provided reach assistance technology or movement assist technology (fork-lifts, pallet jacks, pulleys, dolly's, robotics reach equipment, people movers etc.), as required by job duties.
