  • Job Title: Fleet Sr. Consultant – Business Process/OperationsLocation: Hybrid (25% – 40% travel to site locations (US and Canada required)About Us:Jefferson Wells provides strategic consulting services across various industries, specializing in delivering process improvements, operational efficiencies, and impactful business outcomes. We are currently seeking a highly skilled Fleet Business Process/Operations Sr. Consultant to join our team and support our client's initiative to improve their Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) operations.
  • Job Summary:As a Fleet Business Process/Operations Sr. Consultant, you will partner with business leaders to overhaul standard operating procedures (SOPs) with a focus on pricing as part of the Order-to-Cash process. This role requires a strong understanding of LTL operations, change management, and process improvement to identify and implement business process solutions. You will work closely with the client to understand their current market strategy and operational framework, providing expert guidance to enhance their LTL business from order acceptance though cash collection.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with business leaders to assess current SOPs and operational practices related to LTL operations.
  • Lead process improvement and change management initiatives to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Analyze pricing strategies within the Order-to-Cash process and recommend improvements.
  • Conduct operational assessments and identify gaps or opportunities in current practices.
  • Develop and present business process recommendations tailored to the client's needs.
  • Utilize advanced MS Excel capabilities to analyze data, build models, and create actionable insights.
  • Serve as a critical thinker and independent problem-solver, providing practical and scalable solutions.
  • Travel to client site locations as needed (approximately 25% - 40% of the time).
  • Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in LTL operations with a strong understanding of pricing strategies and logistics processes.
  • Expertise in process improvement and change management methodologies.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Flexibility to travel to client sites as required (approximately 25%-40%).
  • Experience in consulting roles or environments is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Order-to-Cash processes within logistics or transportation industries.
