AECOM is seeking a highly talented, self-driven and motivated Senior Civil / Highway Engineer to be based in Buffalo, New York. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:Assist in completing specific and moderate portions of larger assignments under the guidance of an experienced engineer. Collect and analyze fundamental engineering data using established, well-defined procedures. Perform detailed or routine engineering tasks, including calculations and basic tests for major transportation clients. Propose solutions for new problems by modifying standard methods or procedures from previous assignments. Identify and address discrepancies in results. Provide mentorship and guidance to entry-level engineers. Ensure work is completed within the agreed budget and schedule with minimal supervision. Independently handle the tasks required to complete key design elements for engineering projects.
