Position Summary Reporting to the Machine Shop Manager, the CNC Machine Operator plays a pivotal role in the manufacturing environment by ensuring CNC machines are inspected, programmed, and function properly. You will work autonomously and within a small team cross functionally to reach company goals and objectives. At Parker, you will cultivate a strong culture by participating in High Performance Teams and operating in a LEAN structure.
Position Summary - Inspect and evaluate equipment and product through various tools, calipers, and items.
- Follow proper documentation and reporting standards to ensure data is recorded and escalated accordingly.
- Operate CNC Machines and routers with Master Cam software.
- Communicate well between departments to notify leaders and engineers to troubleshoot issues.
- Work cross functionally to support company LEAN and High Performance team objectives and initiatives to promote company culture.
- Prioritize and multi-task work in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines.
- Use appropriate PPE for designated areas.
Qualifications Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship or have U.S. Permanent Resident Status required.
- GED or High School Diploma required.
- 4+ years of hands-on machine shop or related education/ training and combination manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to perform basic math, reading, writing and computer skills such as basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, and use of Microsoft Office.
- Must demonstrate effective organizational and verbal/written English communication skills independently and within a team.
- Ability to lift and or move up to 40 lbs.
