Position Overview:
The Sr. Communications Specialist will be responsible for messaging of internal communication. This role will be instrumental for communicating with our associates and in assisting our executives with content and events. The ideal candidate will be able to write and edit internal communications to align with company's overall mission and vision. Provides strategic communications support to all levels of the organization and partners closely with departments to develop and implement internal messaging to drive employee engagement. This position will report to the Manager, Internal Communications.
Responsibilities:
+ Write and edit copy for broadcast to an internal audience via email or intranet.
+ Create compelling and visually appealing PowerPoint Presentations for our executives and other internal audiences
+ Support our Leadership Summit and President's Club events, including the presentations and content.
+ Must be able to interact with associates at all levels of the organization.
+ Work with communications and public relations team members to brainstorm ideas for new content opportunities.
+ Identify and develop compelling stories that highlight company accomplishments and employees.
+ Develop and update content on company intranet site.
+ Create supporting graphics for internal communication needs.
+ Manage internal distribution lists within email communications platform.
+ Manage and develop digital signage in corporate offices.
+ Partner with key internal and external stakeholders (HR, legal, operations, sales, etc.) to ensure consistent and clear communication support for potential issues and opportunities.
+ Proactively identifies new opportunities for internal programs and communications to continually drive improvements. Identifies and pursues new communication vehicles and opportunities.
+ Supports all internal communications initiatives to drive communications strategies across the organization including internal events, meetings, news, messaging and other communications projects.
+ Reviews and edits materials using AP style to ensure clarity and suitability for the targeted audience.

Education and Experience Requirements:
+ Bachelor's degree in public relations, communications, journalism, related field.
+ Ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience providing corporate/internal communications support within a corporate environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Pay Ranges$54,983.00 - $91,638.00
This range is based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate's skills, experience, and geographic location, the expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment, as needed. Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the pay range. The upper end of the range will generally be reserved for candidates with extensive experience. An employee's pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. In addition to monetary compensation, we offer benefits, including Medical/Dental/Vision insurance and Company-matching 401(k) in addition to other programs and perks.
