Demonstrates support of Management Ensures that all activities and work functions adhere to compliance requirements as are defined in company policies and procedures as well as state/federal laws and regulations. Performs a variety of duties to support the loan origination function of which the following are illustrative: Provides credit reports for appropriate customer service personnel on prospective borrowers within proper procedure. Assists with loan application processing tasks, e.g., obtains required information, compiles data, etc., as directed. Makes loan decisions within prescribed limits. Coordinates the organization and procurement of required loan documentation, utilizing the appropriate checklist. Verifies and processes a wide variety of credit information which will become part of the credit file, e.g., insurances, forms, etc. Using bank LOS, prepares all necessary documents to close consumer loans Provides information for, and assists in the preparation of, various loan reports, as directed. Prepares a disclosures for a variety of consumer mortgage products, Prepares a variety of letters and forms such as commitment letters, adverse action letters for declined loans, Provides thorough documentation of all financial analysis work, including ratios and other related information. Insures that all credit analysis activities are conducted in accordance with prescribed lending policy. Coordinates specific work tasks with other personnel within the unit or department as well as with other units and departments in order to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of information. Cooperates with, participates in, and supports the adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness, including but not limited to BSA & AML (cash secured loans, loans paid off too quickly). Reports pertinent information to the immediate supervisor as requested, or according to an established schedule; compiles information as necessary or as directed and provides data to appropriate bank personnel. Supports branch personnel through the underwriting and preparation of loan applications and documents. Responds to inquiries relating to his/her particular area, or to requests from customers, other bank personnel, etc., within given time frames and within established policy. Maintains customer service and sales objectives as assigned by Supervisor.
