Senior Controls Engineer (100-150K)

We have a Senior Controls Engineer opportunity available with an established system integrator in the Syracuse, NY area. This is a direct hire opportunity.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Serve as the controls engineering technical lead on key projects
• Act as project manager on smaller projects
• Assist in the development of client proposals
• Work with multidisciplinary teams of engineers (software, controls, mechanical)
• Develop controls strategies for equipment and process technologies
• Perform PLC and HMI programming, commission, start up, and acceptance testing

Background Profile:

• BS in Engineering. Will also consider non degree and multiple years of relevant experience
• 3 - 10+ years of experience is preferred
• Proficient with programming Rockwell, Allen-Bradley PLC's
• Familiarity with SCADA packages
