Senior Corporate Transactions Attorney

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Corporate Transactions Attorney to join our well-established law firm based in New York, NY. Salary: DOE per year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a variety of corporate transactions including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and restructurings.
  • Provide thorough and detailed legal advice on a range of issues including securities and corporate finance matters.
  • Negotiate and draft complex legal documents and agreements, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Coordinate with other attorneys and teams across the firm to ensure comprehensive client services.
  • Maintain and build client relationships by delivering excellent service and exceeding client expectations.
  • Stay updated with changes in corporate law and contribute to the firm's knowledge base.

Minimum Position Qualifications:

  • JD from an accredited law school and admission to the bar in New York.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in corporate law, focusing on M&A, securities, and/or finance transactions.
  • Strong academic credentials and proven track record of legal excellence.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle complex legal transactions with a strategic approach.
  • High degree of professional ethics and integrity.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a top-tier law firm environment.
  • Additional certifications or completed courses relevant to corporate law, securities or financial law.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and tight deadlines.
  • Proven track record in leading negotiations and crafting innovative solutions.
  • Experience advising senior management and boards of directors.
  • Proficiency in multiple languages beneficial.
