Senior Corporate Transactions Attorney
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Corporate Transactions Attorney to join our well-established law firm based in New York, NY. Salary: DOE per year
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a variety of corporate transactions including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and restructurings.
- Provide thorough and detailed legal advice on a range of issues including securities and corporate finance matters.
- Negotiate and draft complex legal documents and agreements, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Coordinate with other attorneys and teams across the firm to ensure comprehensive client services.
- Maintain and build client relationships by delivering excellent service and exceeding client expectations.
- Stay updated with changes in corporate law and contribute to the firm's knowledge base.
Minimum Position Qualifications:
- JD from an accredited law school and admission to the bar in New York.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in corporate law, focusing on M&A, securities, and/or finance transactions.
- Strong academic credentials and proven track record of legal excellence.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to handle complex legal transactions with a strategic approach.
- High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a top-tier law firm environment.
- Additional certifications or completed courses relevant to corporate law, securities or financial law.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and tight deadlines.
- Proven track record in leading negotiations and crafting innovative solutions.
- Experience advising senior management and boards of directors.
- Proficiency in multiple languages beneficial.
