SENIOR COST ANALYST - Manpower Group : Job Details

Our client in the food and beverage industry is seeking a Senior Cost Analyst to join their team. As a Senior Cost Analyst, you will be part of the accounting department supporting the company's inventory and costing system. The ideal candidate will have critical thinking, problem-solving, financial analysis, and research skills, as well as strong communication and collaboration abilities that align successfully with the organization.

Job Title: Senior Cost Analyst

Location: Vernon, CA

Pay Range: $95k - $100k salary (45.60-48.07/hr.)

What's the Job?

• Support the Controller in the company inventory and costing, including manufacturing operations, equipment utilization, and inventory valuations.
• Provide senior management with analysis to determine effects on costs with respect to existing and the development of new products.
• Analyze and identify existing trends based on how our Company currently operates.
• Model new trends based on current and future Company strategic initiatives.
• Develop cost standards for materials and labor.

What's Needed?

• Bachelors degree in accounting (cost accounting preferred) or finance.
• At least five years of experience in directing activities related to product costing, product manufacturing analysis, and inventory valuation.
• Advanced knowledge of mathematics and statistics.
• In-depth knowledge of financial guidelines and regulations.
• Intermediate to Advanced experience with business technology, including accounting software, Oracle, or similar ERP systems.
