Job Description :

Stablecoins will become core, regulated financial infrastructure, facilitating payments throughout the financial system. Bridge is building that infrastructure, enabling developers to easily access and embed these payment rails in their products today.

What You'll Do:

As a Senior Counsel at Bridge, you will play a pivotal role in managing and scaling legal guidance to support our rapidly growing GTM team and expanding product development initiatives. You'll be the primary legal advisor on commercial agreements and product matters, providing strategic guidance that drives business objectives while ensuring regulatory compliance. You will partner closely with key stakeholders across the company to enable new partnerships, complex commercial arrangements, and innovative product use cases.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead legal support for commercial and product development activities across the company
  • Establish scalable legal guidance processes and frameworks, ensuring repeatable and efficient implementation
  • Oversee and negotiate commercial agreements, focusing on efficiency and scalability through internal tools and collaboration with the GTM team
  • Provide legal guidance on product development, ensuring new features and use cases are compliant with relevant laws and regulations
  • Develop comprehensive legal guidance resources for internal use to streamline decision-making
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including GTM, product, and engineering to facilitate commercial success while managing legal risks

Qualifications:

  • 10-12 years of legal experience, with 3-5 years of in-house experience
  • Proven track record in working directly with commercial and product leaders
  • Experience working within a small, scrappy legal team, with hands-on responsibility across multiple areas
  • Commercial law expertise, with core competency in reviewing and negotiating complex agreements
  • Experience in highly regulated industries, especially fintech or payments (preferred but not required)
  • Strong product legal experience, capable of providing practical and scalable guidance on product-related matters
  • Pragmatic approach to legal issues, with a focus on enabling business growth while maintaining compliance
  • Calm and decisive under pressure, with the ability to rise to challenges in high-stakes situations
  • Open to working in dynamic and evolving regulatory environments
