About the Role

The Company is seeking a Senior Counsel for Privacy and Data Protection to join its global team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring the alignment and compliance of products and platforms with the company's policies and global privacy and data-related laws. This role requires a deep understanding of complex legal frameworks, including CCPA, GLBA, GDPR, PIPEDA, and FCRA, and the ability to apply this knowledge to support innovation and business solutions. The Senior Counsel will also be responsible for facilitating a Privacy by Design process, creating employee engagement programs, and providing training on data privacy and protection.Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree, a Juris Doctor, and preferably a CIPP certification. Experience in privacy and data protection is essential, with a preference for legal experience in interactive technology, product development, or data-related commercial agreements. The role demands a creative thinker who can manage risk while supporting innovation, and the ability to negotiate complex data-related agreements. Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills are a must, as is the ability to work effectively in a team of geographically dispersed professionals.
