About the Company

Orange Quarter is partnering with a seed-stage stealth mode startup at the intersection of healthcare, AI and B2B SaaS. Founded in 2024 in the Bay Area, their mission is to optimize documentation in healthcare, ensuring regulatory compliance while freeing up time for doctors and nurses to focus on providing the best patient care. Backed by a family office (private investment firm) with over $4B AUM, they are well-equipped for a massive first year out of stealth. They've already onboarded over 200 pilot customers before launch, have a world-class team, and are looking to grow that team by adding a Senior Data Scientist to match the commercial scale they expect this year.

About the Role

As a Senior Data Scientist, you'll contribute to an early-stage product that is already having a massive impact. You'll be designing, building, and deploying ML solutions that help to analyze large healthcare datasets and unlock key insights. Fine-tuning and integrating LLMs will be key to handling the volume of unstructured data being processed through the platform. You'll also help to build an AI-powered analytics portal for the end user, delivering actionable insights that can provide value to healthcare providers and their patients.

Qualifications

• Masters' or PhD in Computer Science, Data Science/ML/AI, or another related field
• 3+ years professional experience in building machine learning solutions in productionized environments, strong in Python and its ML-specific libraries
• Comfortable with deploying ML solutions in cloud environments (AWS, Azure or GCP)
• Experience in early-stage startups, have taken products from 0-1, comfortable wearing multiple hats
• Experience in working with healthcare data (and the associated regulatory challenges) is a plus
