By becoming part of their community, you will empower students across their school network.Role Overview Our client is seeking a motivated Senior Data Strategistto join their Enterprise Data & Analytics team. This role will be instrumental in advancing data-driven initiatives and promoting a culture of informed decision-making throughout the organization. The Technology Division serves as the backbone of our client's infrastructure, providing essential technology services, support, and security. The Enterprise Data & Analytics department is focused on fostering a robust data culture, emphasizing user-friendly and scalable systems that drive educational outcomes.Key Responsibilities

• Extract and analyze data from a data warehouse using SQL to deliver actionable insights to stakeholders both internal and external.
• Design and maintain SQL transformations in dbt for various reporting use cases.
• Partner with data engineers to develop and refine datasets that meet reporting needs.
• Create and manage dashboards in Looker for senior leadership and operational teams across the company's network.
• Collaborate with school operations and management to gather business requirements and translate them into effective SQL solutions.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline such as Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology, or equivalent experience in data analytics.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience writing complex SQL queries.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, PowerBI).
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex data in an accessible manner.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience SQL coding in dbt and/or LookML coding preferred.
