Job PurposeThe Senior Director, Business and Legal Affairs will provide commercially focused legal and business affairs support to Global Media & Streaming units in the Americas, ensuring timely and practical guidance. Oversee agreements, including NDAs, insurance matters, and contracts with independent contractors, consultants, and vendors. This role will support content sales, distribution, and acquisitions for BBC Studios' branded services, such as BritBox and BBC Select. The individual in this role will advise on a range of legal issues, including intellectual property, fair use, corporate governance, insurance, and music rights, while managing day-to-day legal affairs.

Professional ExperienceThe anticipated annual base salary for this position is $225,000 to $245,000. This range does not include bonus compensation or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary offered depends on the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and geographic location of the position. This range is not inclusive of a competitive bonus, flexible, hybrid working schedule & benefits including but not limited to: 100% BBCS covered medical & dental insurance, vision, & 401k match.
