EOS Defense Systems USA is a manufacturer of cutting edge, precise remote weapons stations. Position Overview The Senior Director of Business Development is responsible for developing and leveraging contacts and business relationships with current or prospective customers. With primary emphasis in the US Army direct fire community, and secondary focus on the US Marine Corps and SOCOM communities, that result in new or additional business opportunities for EOS Defense USA. The Director, will have the knowledge, contacts and familiarity with key members of the Army requirements and acquisition communities and Defense Industry counterparts, as well as the other disciplines related to business operations such as: finance, market research, sales, and planning. The successful incumbent will have a thorough knowledge base of the environment in which EOS Defense Systems USA operates, as well as other areas which can be explored for possible business partnerships. Will work directly with the EOS Director of Business Development for the CEO, coordinating with the leadership and management teams to maximize the success for the Defense sector Business Development effort. Required Qualifications: •Bachelors' degree in business administration or another related field or general equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of a degree. •10-12 years of successful experience in sales, marketing or related field with more progressively challenging requirements. •Must possess professional experience working in or around military organizations/commands such as CSW, FOSOV, DEVCOM, the US Air Force, NASA, or other such groups. •Must be able to professionally represent EOS to both Space and RWS customer groups, developing relationships and strengthening US and International bonds. •This position requires access to information that is subject to compliance with the International Traffic Arms Regulations ( ITAR ) and/or the Export Administration Regulations ( EAR ). In order to comply with the requirements of the ITAR and/or the EAR, applicants will be asked to provide specific documentation to verify U.S. person status under the ITAR and the EAR. A U.S. person according to their definition is a U.S. citizen, U.S. lawful permanent resident (green card holder), or protected individual such as a refugee, or asylee. See 22 CFR § 120.15. •Strong interpersonal, relationship-building skills; ability to work well with all employees. •Excellent written and verbal communications skills. •High level of proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Teams. •Some positions will require current U.S. Citizenship due to contract requirements. Current Security Clearance preferred. Responsibilities •Performs a myriad of functions including long-range, strategic planning and direction, identification, and prioritization of future business opportunities. •Definition and focus of new product/technology development. •Conducts market research. •Maintains familiarity and expertise in both user requirements and competitor products/capabilities. •Conducts market research, analysis and feasibility studies regarding near/long term opportunities and established programs. •Leads and/or participates in the crafting of position papers, white papers and formal proposals. •Ability to mentor, train and develop team members. •Ability to travel (domestically & internationally) up to 25%. •Ability to mentor, train and develop team members. •Other duties as assigned, not determined at the time of hire.
